Wake-up call to the energy and housing industries
20 manufacturers, 43 OMS products, 200 expert discussions: At the European Utility Week from 6 to 8 November in Vienna, the OMS Group achieved its exhibition goal. It was the largest product show for interoperable metering and submetering since its foundation. The attractive stand with the motto "OMS - the metering standard for M-Bus interoperability" was a new attraction for the metering industry and a clear signal to utilities and the housing industry, but also to users in energy management and home and building automation.
The informative lecture by Charles van Dyck, head of the OMS marketing group, was another OMS highlight in Vienna. "Off the shelve M-Bus Interoperability" was the title of the presentation given by the trade fair organiser Synergy/Clarion. Van Dyck demonstrated to the trade visitors how the open, license-free and BSI-compliant OMS specification enables the cross-manufacturer use of meters.
The exhibition of the OMS Group at the European Utility Week was a wake-up call to the energy and housing industry. The politically demanded interoperability for more energy efficiency in the building sector is already available at OMS-Group.
