From 16th to 18th February the pioneers of the OMS-Group exhibited at the E-world 2016 in Essen, Germany.

In Hall 4 for "smart metering" we introduced the certification system of the OMS-Group, as well as the first smart meter devices, which match the enhanced European OMS specification.

At our joint booth EBV Elektronik, Metz Connect, Qundis, Weptech elektronik and Zenner International and the OMS-Group introduced the newest developments and devices.

The OMS-Group with more than 50 members has developed a patent-free, multi-vendor and cross-divisional communication system for smart meters. The “Open Metering System” is the only solution throughout Europe that covers all energy supplies of utilities – electricity, gas, thermal energy and water. It also provides an interface to the field bus system KNX and it thus can be integrated into home and building automation.
